Who we are

My name is Martin Rühle, and I’d like to take a moment to introduce our company and myself as its managing director.

For many years, I traveled around the world for both work and pleasure. On many of my trips, I stayed in hotels, vacation rentals, and private accommodations. I often felt almost right at home, but unfortunately, there were also many instances where certain things made it difficult to feel comfortable.

When I happened to read a report in 2019 about “short-term rentals of apartments and serviced apartments,” I felt a growing desire to start something in this field myself. It was a long journey—from researching legal regulations and searching for suitable locations to gathering everything needed to make a guest feel almost at home.

Together with my partner, who travels even more than I do, I founded our company in 2020. Despite the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we developed a concept to furnish apartments and incorporate the experiences we’ve gained from our travels.

Over six years have passed since then, and we’re learning something new every day. We listen to our guests and strive to incorporate their feedback and suggestions into both our existing accommodations and new projects.

The market is constantly changing; a vast supply of tiny accommodations with as many beds as possible now floods the market. We do not want to follow this trend and instead offer our guests spacious apartments with the most flexible bed configurations possible.

We take great pleasure in hosting guests in our accommodations and welcome all feedback. Our goal is for our guests to feel at home with us. We work toward this every day.
